Danish Royal Family attends 2024 New Year Gala
On Monday evening, Queen Margrethe, Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Joachim, Princess Marie, and Princess Benedikte attended the traditional New Year Gala in Copenhagen.
It was the first appearance of the Royal Family since Queen Margrethe announced in her New Year’s speech she would abdicate and leave the throne to her son. On January 14th, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary will thus become King and Queen of Denmark.
Queen Margrethe wore a BUKKEHAVE fur coat and her Birgitte Thaulow gown with the Pearl Poiré Tiara.
Crown Princess Mary wore her Birgit Hallstein gown with Gianvito Rossi pumps and her J.Furmani clutch. She paired the outfit with the Ruby Parure Tiara and jewels.
Princess Marie wore her Rikke Gudnitz gown with her Jimmy Choo pumps and her Diamond Floral Tiara.
