She first visited the JCP Factory in support of their NSPCC Platinum Jubilee Appeal. The Countess of Wessex is Patron of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
During her visit, the Countess of Wessex met with employees who helped with fundraising efforts and she officially opened the new factory.
Afterward, the Countess of Wessex visited Newcastle-Under-Lyme Council’s Safe Space initiative to hear more about their local refugee program and how it helps women who may feel vulnerable whilst out at night.
The Countess of Wessex also visited the Salvation Army to learn more about their Rough Sleepers Initiative which supports those who are homeless or sleeping rough and helps move them into safety and accommodation.
The Countess of Wessex wore her Harris Wharf London coat over a burgundy top and her Alberta Ferretti skirt. She paired the outfit with her Sophie Habsburg clutch and brown boots. She also wore her Birks earrings, her Felt necklace & bracelet, and Halcyon Days bangles.
