Royal Recap: November 14th - November 20th

Welcome to this week’s Royal Recap where we’ll take a look at the events we weren’t able to cover fully this week!

Since Monday, John Kørner's painting "Queen Louise's Bridge" is exposed at the Danish Student House in Paris. As Patron of the Student House, Princess Marie attended the inauguration.

Princess Marie wore her Maje suit with repeated ankle boots.

On Thursday, Princess Marie attended the inauguration of the "There Is No Such Thing as Bad Weather" exhibition by Danish artists SUPERFLEX at Le Bicolore in Paris in her role as Special Cultural Representative.

She wore a repeated blazer, a Zara t-shirt, her Michael Kors skirt, and repeated ankle boots.


On Tuesday, Queen Mathilde, King Albert, and Queen Paola attended the awards ceremony and the Gala dinner marking the 20th anniversary of the European federation for missing children “Missing Children Europe”.

During the dinner, Queen Paola passed on the Honorary Presidency of the Patronage Committee of Missing Children Europe to Queen Mathilde.

Queen Mathilde wore a Dries Van Noten suit with Giorgio Armani pumps. She also wore new earrings by René Boivin (with thanks to Garde Robe Royale).

On Wednesday, Queen Mathilde opened a symposium on child precariousness and its impact on child development. She wore a repeated Natan outfit.

On Thursday, Queen Mathilde did another of her walk for mental well-being ahead of her 50th birthday. She was joined for this walk by patients of the Sint-Alexius psychiatric hospital and members of the Too Crazy!? non-profit.

On Friday, Queen Mathilde read an extract from the book "An ocean of love" by Pieter Gaudesaboos to blind and visually impaired pupils of the VGC Kasterlinden special education primary school.

Queen Mathilde wore a green blouse and skirt with her Zara coat and Natan pumps. She also wore Clara Niubo earrings (with thanks to Garde Robe Royale) and her Rolex watch.


On Thursday, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie visited the exhibition of the Cercle Artistique de Luxembourg.

She wore a navy jacket with a Georges Rech top, black trousers, and her Chanel bag.

On Friday, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie, and Prince Charles marked National Tree Day by planting trees in Fischbach.

Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie wore a Prada coat with jeans and Aigle khaki boots.

Prince Charles wore his Petit Bateau coat, his Jacadi jacket, jeans, and Aigle boots.
