Queen Consort Camilla hosts reception marking mark the UN’s #16Days for the Elimination of Violence Against Women
On Tuesday, Queen Consort Camilla hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace marking mark the UN’s #16Days for the Elimination of Violence Against Women campaign. The Countess of Wessex, Queen Mathilde, Queen Rania, and Crown Princess Mary attended the reception.
Survivors, experts, activists, and politicians also attended the reception during which the Queen Consort made a speech.
“We are uniting today to confront, rightly, what has been called a global pandemic of violence against women. Faced with such challenges, it can be hard to know what practical steps we can take to even begin to make a difference.”

The Countess of Wessex wore an Emilia Wickstead top with Emilia Wickstead trousers and a Sophie Habsburg clutch. She also wore her Cassandra Goad necklace and her Felt bracelet.
Queen Mathilde wore a Natan dress (with thanks to Garde Robe Royale) with her Armani Privé clutch with her Rolex watch.
Crown Princess Mary wore a Jesper Hovring blouse with grey trousers, her Mulberry bag, and her Gianvito Rossi pumps. She also wore her Sophie Bille Brahe earrings.
