On Tuesday, Queen Mathilde received parents and experts for a roundtable discussion about mental health at the Royal Palace. The discussion focused on how to support parents and families who care for patients.
On Thursday, Queen Mathilde visited “De Vlaamse Hulplijn 1712” which is celebrating its 10th anniversary. 1712 is a Flemish helpline for people facing cases of violence, abuse, or abuse of children.
On Friday, Queen Mathilde visited the Haute Ecole Provinciale de Hainaut-Condorcet to learn about the impact of the pandemic on the school. She also took part in a roundtable discussion with students and teachers focusing on their experiences during the pandemic.
Queen Mathilde also watched practical workshops such as an anatomy course on a tablet, a simulation tool allowing students to put themselves in the shoes of an elderly person, and a pediatrics workshop.
