Crown Princess Mary attends groundbreaking ceremony for “Mary’s Australian Garden”

This morning, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Vincent, and Princess Josephine visited the Copenhagen Zoo as the zoo marked Crown Princess Mary’s upcoming 50th birthday. Crown Princess Mary is Patron of Copenhagen Zoo.

The zoo is establishing a new area named “Mary’s Australian Garden” that will have a modern and green facility that will house animal species from Australia. Crown Princess Mary and her children first the penguin and kangaroo facilities.

After the tour, they took part in the groundbreaking ceremony for the new area. During the ceremony, Crown Princess Mary made a speech and the Mayor of Frederiksberg Municipality Michael Vindfeldt announced that a donation was given to the zoo in honor of their patron’s birthday.

Crown Princess Mary wore her Hobbs coat with a burgundy turtleneck, black trousers, and Angulus ankle boots. She also wore a navy hat and her Cartier bracelet.

The twins wore Moncler coats and Princess Josephine also wore rings by Maanesten, Jane Kønig, and Maria Black (with thanks to Billed-Bladet).
