The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visit Belize - Day 3
On Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent their third and last full day in Belize as part of their Caribbean jubilee tour.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge first visited Caracol to learn more about the history of the site, which is an old Mayan archeological site. They also climbed to the top of Caana, the tallest man-made structure in Belize which is also called “the sky palace”.
Afterward, the couple went to the British Army Training Support Unit (BATSUB) base in the Chiquibul Forest. Prince William trained with BATSUB in this base back in 2000 with the Welsh Guards.
In the evening, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a reception hosted by Governor-General Froyla Tzalam at the ancient Mayan ruins of Cahal Pech.
The reception was organized to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and the Duke of Cambridge made a speech.
For the day events, The Duchess of Cambridge wore a new John Lewis t-shirt (with thanks to Christine) with new G-Star Raw jeans and her Superga trainers. She also wore her Spells of Love earrings and new Ray-Ban sunglasses (with thanks to Christine).
For the second event, she wore a Scotch & Soda shirt over her t-shirt and she changed into Palladium boots.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a new The Vampire’s Wife dress (based on the gown pictured below) with her Jimmy Choo sandals and a Mayan embroidered clutch. She also wore her O’NITAA earrings.
