Queen Maxima makes official visit to the USA as UNSGSA - Day 2

On Thursday, Queen Maxima spent her second and last day in the USA, this time in New York City in her role as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance.

During her day of meetings, she took part in a roundtable discussion about financial health and she met with the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

She also met with UNDP Assistant Secretary-General and Director of the Bureau of External Relations and Advocacy Ulrika Modeer, as well as other UN officials and the co-chairs of the UN Group of Friends on Financial Inclusion (Indonesia, Peru, and Tanzania).
