Queen Mathilde marks International Women's Day

To mark International Women’s Day today, the Belgian Court shared a recorded speech by Queen Mathilde which will air tomorrow at the WOMED Awards which promote women entrepreneurs both in Belgium and abroad.

In her speech, Queen Mathilde says: “As an Advocate for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, I have made equal economic opportunities for women one of my priorities. This, of course, involves the economic and financial emancipation of women, their guaranteed access to credit, the freedom to dispose of their resources, and the opportunity to create their own business.”

Queen Mathilde wore her Natan white scarf collar top with her Leysen earrings.
