Danish Royal family attends Princess Isabella's confirmation

This morning, Princess Isabella was confirmed at Fredensborg Palace Church with her closest family, her friends, and her godparents in attendance. The ceremony was private but the Danish Royal family posed for photographs upon arriving at the Castle.

Princess Isabella’s godparents are Queen Mathilde, Princess Alexia of Greece, Nadine Johnston, Christian Buchwald, Peter Heering, and Marie Louise Skeel. The service was officiated by Bishop Henrik Wigh-Poulsen.

After the ceremony, Princess Isabella and her family posed outside for the press and answered questions.

Official photos of Princess Isabella and her family were taken by Franne Voigt and released in the afternoon. The photos were taken in their home Kancellihuset before the ceremony.

The Court also shared official photos taken after the ceremony in the Garden Hall of Fredensborg Castle.

Queen Margrethe wore an Annette Freifeldt outfit with a Mathilde Førster hat (with thanks to Billed-Bladet).

Princess Isabella wore a Max Mara suit that belongs to her mother with her Jimmy Choo sandals. She paired the outfit with Hartmann’s earrings and Ellen Hunter combs that also belong to her mother with Dulong rings.
