The Earl and Countess of Wessex visit Channel Islands - Day 3

On Tuesday, the Earl and Countess of Wessex spent their third and last day on the Channel Islands as they concluded their visit to mark the Queen’s Jubilee and the anniversary of the Liberation.

They first visited Forest Primary School in Guernsey to meet with staff and children and see how they prepare to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee.

The couple also planted a tree to mark the Queen’s Jubilee.

In Alderney, the Earl and Countess of Wessex attended a reception with the Island’s Politicians, Civil Servants, Representatives of the Court, and frontline representatives. They also presented Alderney’s first female firefighter Letitia Flatres with the Fire Brigade Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.

Afterward, the Earl and Countess of Wessex visited the Roman Fort heritage site at Longis where they broke ground for the Platinum Jubilee Archeological Dig.

The Countess of Wessex wore a Gabriela Hearst blazer over her ARoss Girl blouse and Victoria Beckham trousers. She paired the outfit with her Penelope Chilvers shoes and Sophie Habsburg clutch. She also wore her Birks earrings with her Felt necklace.
