King Felipe and Queen Letizia visit Pinofranqueado
Today, King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited Pinofranqueado to mark the centenary of the visit of King Alfonso XIII to the region of Las Hurdes.
King Felipe and Queen Letizia first walked to Pinofranqueado’s Town Hall where they held a short meeting with the mayors of the localities of the Region and signed the Book of Honor.
Afterward, King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited the Las Hurdes Documentation Center where they toured an exhibition about King Alfonso XIII’s visit to the region, an exhibition on the film Buñuel en el laberinto de las tortugas, and an exhibition on the region’s festivals.
The Royal Couple then held a meeting with representatives of civil society from the region of Las Hurdes.
King Felipe and Queen Letizia ended their visit with a walk around the town’s river.
Queen Letizia wore her Carolina Herrera blouse with her Sweet Matitos skirt and new Lolas wedges (with thanks to @letizia_de_princesa_a_reina). She paired the outfit with her hoop earrings and Karen Hallam ring.
