On Thursday, Queen Silvia marked International Nurses' Day with a video message in which she said: “The pandemic of recent years has shed light on the importance of nurses and nurses' competence, both here in Sweden and around the world. Your knowledge, your empathy and your commitment make a difference - both in society at large, and in the lives of individuals.”
