Royal Recap: February 1 - February 7

Welcome to this week’s Royal Recap where we’ll take a look at the events we weren’t able to cover fully this week!

On Tuesday, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel continued their digital tour of Swedish municipalities. They met with representatives from Härjedalen and Vännäs to learn more about the municipalities in general and how they are handling the COVID-19 pandemic.

Crown Princess Victoria wore her Greta purple blouse with her Misst earrings.

Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel had an even busier day on Wednesday as they met representatives from Arboga, Arjeplog, Halmstad, Hedemora, Oskarshamn, Östhammar, Ronneby, Sunne, and Vansbro.

On Wednesday, Crown Princess Mary took part as the patron of the WHO Regional Office for Europe in a briefing for ambassadors from the region during which she got an update on the COVID-19 situation, especially regarding vaccination.

On Saturday evening, Crown Princess Mary appeared in the TV program Danmarks Indsamling where she gave an interview about the consequences the global COVID-19 pandemic has on the world's most vulnerable people. On Thursday, the Danish court shared a behind the scenes photo of the interview.

It looks like Crown Princess Mary wore her Massimo Dutti green blazer with her Gianvito Rossi black ankle boots, her Louise Grønlykke earrings as well as her Dulong bracelet and ring.


On Thursday, Queen Mathilde met with representatives of CLB. CLBs are centers that bring together students, parents, and schools and focus on learning and studies, career counseling, preventive care, and psycho-social well-being. Queen Mathilde wore a checked Natan top.

On Friday, Queen Mathilde met with experts during the “Week Tegen Pesten” (“Week against bullying”). The conversation focused on the impact of the coronavirus crisis on children, with particular attention to cyber-bullying.

Queen Mathilde wore her floral printed Dries van Noten coat.
