Belgian State Visit to Democratic Republic of the Congo - Day 5

On Saturday, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde spent their fifth day in the Democratic Republic of the Congo as part of their week-long state visit.

They first visited a Katanga village to learn more about the FAO community forest project which encourages local communities to sustainably manage and restore forest ecosystems, thus reducing damage from deforestation.

In the evening, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde met with laureates of World Skills Africa 2022 before attending a dinner with the Belgian delegation.

Queen Mathilde first wore a new jacket and matching trousers with Tod’s loafers. She paired the outfit with her Sézane earrings, her Longchamp sunglasses, and her Rolex watch.

In the evening, Queen Mathilde wore a new Odile Jacobs gown (with thanks to ModeKoninginMathilde) with a Natan orange belt, a Natan clutch, and her Salvatore Ferragamo wedges. She paired the outfit with her Tikli Jewelry earrings and her Rolex watch.
