Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attend Join Sweden Summit
Today, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended the Join Sweden Summit in Stockholm.
The conference brought together “leaders and gamechangers from academia, politics, industry, and innovative environments to explore Sweden's investment potential and opportunities to pioneer the possible.”
In her opening speech, Crown Princess Victoria said: “Today, after several centuries of successful trade and international cooperation, working with other countries comes natural to Sweden and Swedish companies. Exports account for half of Sweden’s GDP. And half of Sweden’s export value is generated by foreign-owned companies in Sweden. People who come here to work or to do business soon realize that here in Sweden, cooperation is not just a buzz word. It is simply how we do things: together.”
In the afternoon, Crown Princess Victoria also met with astronaut Jessica Meir at the Royal Palace.
