Danish Crown Prince Couple's visit to The Netherlands - Day 1
Today, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary started a two-day business visit to The Netherlands with a Danish business delegation. The couple first attended the opening of the business event at the New Babylon Conference Center.
Afterward, Crown Princess Mary officially opened the "HealthTech and MedTech" seminar.
In her welcome speech, she said: “ To ensure our healthcare systems are fit for future demands, it is important that we cooperate and learn from each other’s experiences. I am delighted that public and private stakeholders from Denmark and the Netherlands are here to share knowledge and innovative models for developing the best possible solutions with the patient – the person at the centre of treatment and care.”
In the afternoon, Crown Princess Mary visited the public administration office of the Province of South Holland where she attended a roundtable discussion on energy efficiency. She then visited the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague where she met Danish and Dutch students.
Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary also toured the Peace Palace in The Hague which houses a library, the Hague Academy of International Law, the Permanent Court of Arbitration, and the International Court of Justice.
In the evening, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were joined by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima at an official dinner in the Grote Kerk.
Crown Princess Mary first wore a new Scanlan Theodore suit with a Scanlan Theodore top and a Scanlan Theodore belt. She paired the outfit with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Chanel bag. She also wore Sophie Bille Brahe earrings, necklaces by Dulong and Rebekka Notkin, a Dulong bracelet and her multi stone gold bracelet, as well as rings by Dulong and Ole Lynggaard. For some of her afternoon events, Crown Princess Mary changed into new Nike sneakers.
In the evening, Crown Princess Mary wore her modified Temperley London dress with her Manolo Blahnik pumps and her Sergio Rossi clutch. She paired the outfit with her Claes Iversen belt, her Ole Lyngaard earrings, as well as her Rebekka Notkin bracelet and her multi stone gold bracelet.
Queen Maxima wore a new Carolina Herrera dress with a Carolina Herrera belt. She paired the outfit with Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Gianvito Rossi clutch. She also wore repeated jewels and her Patek Philippe watch.
