Danish State Visit to Australia - Day 4

On Tuesday, King Frederik and Queen Mary spent their fourth day in Australia, attending engagements in Melbourne.
They were officially welcomed by Victoria's Governor Margaret Gardner and Professor Glyn Davis at Government House Victoria.

At Government House Victoria, the Royal Couple attended a luncheon with representatives from Danish and Australian businesses.

King Frederik and Queen Mary then took part in a short city walk in the redeveloped Prahran area and was presented with examples of existing buildings, projects under construction, and completed sustainable homes. 

Queen Mary gave a presentation about the Royal Couple's personal experiences with sustainable transformation based on the annex at Fredensborg Palace.

Afterward, King Frederik and Queen Mary visited the Port of Melbourne to learn more about the port's role in the green transition and the development of sustainable solutions in the maritime sector. Danish solutions for renewable energy and green transition were also presented.

The Royal Couple also took part in an event with the Australian Football League (AFL) at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Queen Mary first wore her Birgit Hallstein dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Anya Hindmarch bag. She paired the outfit with her Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings, her Rebekka Notkin bracelet, and her Rebekka Notkin ring.

Queen Mary then wore a Max Mara blazer with a white top, blue trousers, and her Nike sneakers. She also wore her Gucci sunglasses, her Sophie Bille Brahe earrings, her Rebekka Notkin bracelet, and her Rebekka Notkin ring.
