Royal Recap: June 20th - June 26th

Welcome to this week’s Royal Recap where we’ll take a look at the events we weren’t able to cover fully this week!

On Tuesday, Queen Sofia and Queen Silvia attended the Global Summit NEURO 2020/2022 in Salamanca as well as a concert to celebrate the summit.

For the concert, Queen Silvia wore her Valentino dress with her Jimmy Choo pumps.


On Tuesday, Prince Albert attended the closing ceremony of the Monte-Carlo TV Festival. Louis and Marie Ducruet as well as Camille Gottlieb were also in attendance.

Camille Gottlieb wore a Tarik Ediz gown with APM Monaco jewels.

Marie Ducruet wore a Lia Stublla gown.


On Tuesday, Queen Mathilde attended the opening ceremony of the European Development Days.

Queen Mathilde wore a white outfit with nude pumps and her Armani Privé clutch. She paired the outfit with her Carolina Herrera earrings, her Christine Bekaert cuff, and her Rolex watch.


On Wednesday, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde visited the Province of Limburg!

They first visited the BelOrta market which is a cooperative bringing together more than 1,000 local producers of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Afterward, they visited the De Wroeter organization which offers tailor-made activities, training, and jobs to disadvantaged or disabled people.

They also met the crowds during their tour of the market square in Bilzen.

Queen Mathilde wore a Natan dress with Natan pumps, a Francesca Romana Diana cuff, and her Rolex watch.


On Thursday, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde met with the latest promotion of interns-diplomat before they leave for work abroad.

On Friday, Queen Mathilde attended the first "Symposium of Her Majesty the Queen" organized by the Royal Academy of Medicine in Belgium.

This first edition focused on the mental health of children and adolescents. In her speech, Queen Mathilde advocated for a holistic approach to mental health, prevention, early detection, care accessibility, and youth involvement in the care process.

Queen Mathilde wore a Natan dress with Percossi Papi earrings, her Christine Bekaert cuff, and her Rolex watch.


On Tuesday, the Earl and Countess of Wessex spent their second day in Cyprus. They first were received by the President and First Lady of The Republic of Cyprus and they met with British Peacekeepers serving with the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus.

In the afternoon, the Earl and Countess of Wessex visited Dhekelia Station, a British Sovereign Base Area.

The Countess of Wessex first wore her Suzannah dress with her LK Bennett pumps and her Sophie Habsburg clutch. She paired the outfit with her Heavenly Necklaces earrings, her Felt bracelet, her Cassandra Goad necklace, her Patek Philippe watch, and her Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses. While visiting bases, she chanted into her Penelope Chilvers wedges.

In the afternoon, the Countess of Wessex wore a Max Mara top with Mistral trousers and her Eleventy jacket. She also wore her Penelope Chilvers wedges and her Sophie Habsburg bag with the same jewels as earlier in the day.


On Wednesday, the Earl and Countess of Wessex spent their third and last day in Cyprus during which they visited the RAF Akrotiri Families Club and Bowl Centre.

The Countess of Wessex wore her CO dress with repeated shoes and her Valextra bag. She paired the outfit with her Felt bracelet, her Cassandra Goad necklace, her Patek Philippe watch, and her Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses.


On Thursday, the Countess of Wessex attended the service of celebration for The Lady Elizabeth Shakerley at Westminster Abbey.

The Countess of Wessex wore her Emilia Wickstead dress with black pumps and her Sophie Habsburg clutch. She paired the outfit with a Jane Taylor hat, her Hermes necklace, her Halcyon Days bangle, and her Patek Philippe watch.


On Wednesday, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima hosted a gala dinner for the Diplomatic Corps at the Royal Palace.

Queen Maxima wore her Jan Taminiau gown with the Mellerio Ruby Tiara.


On Thursday, Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi attended ‘The Alchemist's Feast', the inaugural summer party & fundraiser for the National Gallery's Bicentenary campaign in London.

Princess Beatrice wore a Markarian gown with a Tyler Ellis clutch.


On Friday, King Albert, Queen Paola, and Princess Astrid attended the Belgo-Italian friendship concert, organized by the Italian Embassy in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute.

On Saturday, the Duchess of Cambridge marked Armed Forces Day by sharing photos of a day she spent with the British Army last November.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore her Seeland jacket with her Holland Cooper jumper, jeans, and her Berghaus boots.


On Saturday, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa took part in the “Saint-Maur En Poche” Book Fair where she signed copies of her book and took part in a panel discussion about female writers.

Grand Duchess Maria Teresa wore her Valentino top with black trousers, black pumps, and her Loewe bag. She paired the outfit with jewels by Charlotte Chesnais and Peruffo.


On Saturday evening, King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofia attended Maria Pages’ performance at the Teatros de El Canal. Maria Pages is one of the 2022 Princess of Asturias Awards winners.
