Queen Maxima visits Maxima College and Petje Foundation

Today, Queen Maxima made two working visits in Ridderkerk and in Amstelveen. She first visited the Maxima College where she toured several practice rooms to learn more about the lessons taught.

Queen Maxima met with students who talked about their experience at the school and Queen Maxima also got a manicure from a student.

Afterward, Queen Maxima visited the Petje Foundation which is fighting for the equality of opportunity for children in the Netherlands and is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year.

The Foundation offers activities in addition to regular education to children aged 10 to 14 who need support and help.

During her visit, Queen Maxima met with employees, board members, and volunteers of the Petje Foundation as well as children supported by the Foundation.

Queen Maxima wore a Natan outfit with her Sophie Habsburg clutch and her Gianvito Rossi pumps.
