On Thursday, Crown Princess Mary attended the official opening of the Odense Flower Festival as Patron. This year’s theme is “The adventurous garden".

During the opening ceremony, Crown Princess Mary also named a new rose. It was developed for Mayte Garcia, who was married to the singer Prince. The singer dedicated his song 'The Most Beautiful Girl in the World' to Mayte, and the rose was thus named 'The Most Beautiful’.

Afterward, Crown Princess Mary toured the festival, met students, and took part in some of the activities available such as building her own insect hotel.

Crown Princess Mary wore her Erdem dress with new Michel Vivien sandals. She paired the outfit with jewels by Dulong and Rebekka Notkin.
