Crown Princess Mary visits Greenland - Day 1

On Tuesday, Crown Princess Mary started a trip to Greenland with the Mary Fonden.

She first attended an event in her new role of President of the WWF World Wildlife Fund as she joined children to collect and sort plastic at the beach in Nuuk.

Afterward, Crown Princess Mary visited the Dandelion Center in Nuuk, which works to improve the well-being and conditions of neglected children and young people in Greenland.

During her visit, she met with children and staff and learned more about the creative and sporting activities offered by the Dandelion Centre.

Mary Fonden and the Dandelion Centre have been cooperating for several years on the competence development of the Crisis Centers for women affected by violence in Greenland.

Crown Princess Mary first wore her Massimo Dutti coat over a Polo Ralph Lauren sweater and white shirt as well as Hugo Boss jeans. She wore her repeated Boss belt and navy shoes.

For the WWF event, Crown Princess Mary wore a Mackage rain cape over her Massimo Dutti coat and Polo Ralph Lauren sweater with black trousers and Penelope Chilvers boots.
