The Duchess of Edinburgh visits Ethiopia - Day 4
On Tuesday, the Duchess of Edinburgh was in Hawassa, Ethiopia, where she visited services supported by Orbis protecting the vision of children and adults and focusing on eliminating trachoma in the country. The Duchess of Edinburgh is a Global Ambassador of the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness.
She first visited the Hawela Health Centre’s Primary Eye Care Unit where she met health workers screening for and treating blinding trachoma.
Afterward, the Duchess of Edinburgh visited the Hawassa Tertiary Hospital to learn more about their tertiary eye care services and ophthalmology training activities.
The Duchess of Edinburgh wore a Max Mara dress with her The Row flats.




On Monday, the Norwegian Royal Family attended a private service held at the Palace Chapel following the passing of King Harald.
