Prince Christian's 18th Birthday: Balcony Appearance
On Sunday, Prince Christian celebrated his 18th birthday! To mark the day, it was announced Queen Margrethe had awarded Prince Christian the Order of the Elephant and had given him the elephant that belonged to his grandfather, Prince Henrik, before.

At noon, Prince Christian appeared on the balcony of Frederik VIII's Palace to greet the crowds wishing to celebrate him. He was joined by his grandmother, his parents, and his siblings.
New official photos of the family taken by Dennis Stenild were also released.
Crown Princess Mary wore her Soeren Le Schmidt dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps. She paired the outfit with her Bruun Rasmussen earrings, the Connaught Sapphire Brooch, her Julie Sandlau and Halberstadt necklaces, and her Ole Lynggaard rings.
Princess Isabella wore a Harris Wharf London blazer with her mother’s Zimmermann top, black trousers, and Valentino pumps.
Princess Josephine wore a black suit with a blue blouse and a Dulong ring.
