Crown Princess Victoria unveils memorial stone for Adolf Ludvig Gustav Fredrik Albrecht Couschi

On Monday, Crown Princess Victoria attended the unveiling ceremony of a memorial stone for Adolf Ludvig Gustav Fredrik Albrecht Couschi, known in his time as Gustav Badin, at the Katarina cemetery on Södermalm in Stockholm.

Couschi was taken as a slave child from the Danish colony of Saint Croix in the West Indies to Sweden in 1760. He grew up at the Royal Court and later became the foster son and servant of Queen Lovisa Ulrika. He died a free man in 1822 and is buried at the Katarina cemetery.

Crown Princess Victoria wore a repeated coat with her Massimo Dutti jacket, a Vesna W blouse, and her H&M skirt. She paired the outfit with her af Klingberg ankle boots, her Quidam clutch, and her Epoch watch.
