Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visit the United Kingdom - Day 1
On Wednesday, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel started a three-day official visit to the United Kingdom. They first met with Ukrainian soldiers who are being trained in the UK by Swedish soldiers within the framework of Operation Interflex in Norfolk.
Afterward, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited the Three Blackbirds Pub in Woodditton to discuss English pub culture and listen to a presentation about East Anglia.
In the afternoon, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited the White City Campus, which is part of the Imperial College and under construction, in London. They learned more about NATO’s Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA), which focuses on how to accelerate innovation in the areas of defense and security.
The Crown Princess Couple then attended a reception at the Ambassador’s residence in light of Sweden’s candidacy to become a member of the International Maritime Organization Council.
In the evening, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended a dinner hosted by Business Sweden and the Embassy at the National History Museum in London.
The dinner, during which Crown Princess Victoria made a speech, focused on sustainability, innovation, and security for British and Swedish businesses, as well as the importance of progress in the climate negotiations during COP28.
Crown Princess Victoria first wore a Toteme jacket with her Soft Goat jumper, her Vesna W blouse, jeans, and her Bush Princess bag. She also wore a HÈST scarf.
In the afternoon, Crown Princess Victoria wore a printed dress with her Sania D’Mina boots and her Saint Laurent bag. For the embassy reception, she changed into her Gianvito Rossi pumps.
In the evening, Crown Princess Victoria wore her Filippa K jacket with an H&M dress and her Nancy Gonzalez clutch. She also wore Maria Nilsdotter earrings and her Kreuger Jewellery bracelet.
