On Friday, the Earl of Wessex was made Duke of Edinburgh on his 59th birthday by King Charles. In the afternoon, the new Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh attended a reception in the city to recognize Edinburgh’s work in supporting Ukrainian refugees.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh met with volunteers and Ukrainians and Eastern Europeans living in Edinburgh. They also met with the members of the Ukrainian Choir which performed during the reception.

The Duchess of Edinburgh wore her Max Mara coat with a Roksanda dress, her Prada pumps, and her Sophie Habsburg clutch. She paired the outfit with repeated earrings, her Lucia Odelscachi necklace, Halcyon Days bangles, and her Felt bracelet.
