The Prince and Princess of Wales attend St Patrick's Day Parade

On Friday, the Prince and Princess of Wales attended the 1st Battalion Irish Guards’ St Patrick’s Day Parade at Mons Barrack in Aldershot.

The Princess of Wales presented the shamrock to Officers and Warrant Officers to mark St Patrick’s Day.

The Prince of Wales, as the outgoing Colonel, and the Princess of Wales, as the incoming Colonel, both made speeches during the event. The Princess of Wales then took the Royal Salute.

The couple then met members of the regiment and posed for the official Officers’ and Sergeants’ Mess photos.

The Princess of Wales wore a Catherine Walker coat with Gianvito Rossi pumps and an Emmy clutch (with thanks to MiddletonMaven). She paired the outfit with a Jane Taylor hat (with thanks to Gabi).
