Queen Sonja hosts International Women's Day lunch at Royal Palace
On Wednesday, Queen Sonja marked International Women’s Day by hosting a lunch with remarkable Norwegian women at the Royal Palace.
In her speech, Queen Sonja said: “I myself think that being a woman in Norway today is different and better than it was 50 years ago. We've got a society where, to an even greater extent than before, there is room for both women and men, and to be a man and a woman as you wish. And you – you who are sitting here today, have largely contributed to this. For this, we are all very grateful to you.”
Queen Sonja wore her Pucci dress with Chanel pumps.

On Saturday, Crown Princess Victoria spent her second day in Indonesia in her role as a United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Goodwill Ambassador.
