On Tuesday, Crown Princess Victoria attended the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award ceremony. The award aims to honor Astrid Lindgren’s memory and to increase interest in children's and young people's literature in the world.

Crown Princess Victoria presented the prize to US author Laurie Halse Anderson.
