Queen Maxima launches 'More Art and Culture in Schools and Surroundings' initiative
On Tuesday, Queen Maxima took part in the launch of More Music in the Classroom’s new initiative 'More Art and Culture in Schools and Surroundings' in The Hague. Queen Maxima is the honorary chairman of More Music in the Classroom.
The initiative focuses on a broad cultural offer at and after school, in order to offer students in Dutch education equal opportunities. After the ceremony, a panel discussion on how to promote equal opportunities for children and young people through art and culture took place.
During her visit, Queen Maxima also toured the schoolyard of Kindcentrum O3 where students followed workshops in theatre, fashion making, cooking, and dance.
Queen Maxima wore a new Natan outfit with Natan shoes and a Sophie Habsburg bag.
