British Royals attend Commonwealth Reception

This afternoon, the King, Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent attended the Realm Governors General and Prime Minister’s Lunch at Buckingham Palace.

This reception began in the white drawing room, before a drinks reception in the music room followed by lunch in the blue drawing room. There were 42 invited attendees, including UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, and Prime Minister of New Zealand Chris Hipkins.

Afterwards, the King and the Prince and Princess of Wales undertook a surprise walk about to great well-wishers camped out in front of Buckingham Palace. This evening they will attend a reception for overseas guests and Foreign Royals.

The Princess of Wales wore a white sheath dress with black trim (awaiting confirmation, but likely Jenny Packham) with Aquazzura Deneuve Bow Pumps and her Prada Clutch.

The Duchess of Edinburgh wore a new dress from Beulah London, with her wedding pearl earrings and nude pumps.
