Foreign Secretary James Cleverly gave the opening remarks at the reception. He remarked on how climate change is a threat for so many small Island nations and called for urgent action to protect them from disaster. Representatives from Tristan da Cunha, Bermuda, and Maldives were just a few in attendance.
