Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit attend literary conversation in Oslo
On Wednesday, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended events in Olso as part of their 50th birthday celebrations.
They first visited Kuben upper secondary school where they attended a conversation about literature with students.
Afterward, the Crown Prince Couple and the students went to Litteraturhuset where they attended a literary conversation between young writers and cultural personalities based in Oslo. In her speech, Crown Princess Mette-Marit said: “Their voices carry far, they whisper, and they shout, they tell us where the fire is. They give us direction, sometimes it gives much, much hope, and other times despair. But they expand, in their own way, our perception of what it means to be human - in Norway, in 2023.”
Crown Princess Mette-Marit first wore her The Fold blouse with her Gabriela Hearst trousers, her Christian Louboutin pumps, and her Paloma van den Akker bag.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit then wore her Max Mara dress with her Prada belt, her Christian Louboutin pumps, and her Cartier ring. When arriving to Litteraturhuset, she wore her brown suede flats.
