Dutch State Visit to Belgium - Day 2

On Wednesday, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima spent their second day in Belgium. In Brussels, the Dutch Royal Couple and the Belgian Royal Couple first attended the Climate Tech Forum.

Afterward, Queen Mathilde and Queen Maxima visited the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Waterloo. They met musicians, attended performances, and received a guided tour.

In the afternoon, King Willem-Alexander, Queen Maxima, King Philippe, and Queen Mathilde attended a themed lunch on tackling drought and flood risks before visiting BioPark Charleroi.

The Royal Couples then went to the schoolyard of Institut Saint-André where they unveiled a comic strip wall by the Dutch comic artist Dido Drachman and the Belgian comic artist Christian Durieux with students. They also took part in a drawing workshop with the students of the school.

In the evening, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima offered a concert by the Amsterdam Sinfonietta string orchestra in Brussels to thank the Belgian Royal Couple and Belgium for their hospitality.

Queen Mathilde first wore her Natan dress with her Natan pumps and a Fabienne Delvigne clutch. She also wore a Fabienne Delvigne headpiece and her Rolex watch.

Queen Maxima wore her Natan dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Natan clutch. She paired the outfit with her Scully & Scully earrings, her Patek Philippe watch, and her Chanel sunglasses.

In the evening, Queen Mathilde wore a Jan Taminiau gown (with thanks to Rick Evers).

Queen Maxima wore her Jan Taminiau gown with her Aquazzura shoes and her Steltman bracelet.
