Queen Maxima visits Brazil as UNSGSA - Day 1
On Monday, Queen Maxima started a three-day visit to Brazil as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA).
She first attended a roundtable meeting on consumer financial health with leaders from the public and private sectors held at the offices of Santander in São Paulo.
Afterward, Queen Maxima met with members of PicPay executive team to hear how the company has been enabled by open finance and digital infrastructure.
She also visited Kovi to hear about how its innovative auto financing model can help drive better financial health for underserved groups in Brazil.
Queen Maxima then met with Luciana Reís to discuss her experience running a restaurant during a pandemic and economic downturn.
Queen Maxima also met with leaders and customers from Dinie, a pioneering fintech that offers embedded lending and digital working capital to MSMEs and merchants on e-commerce platforms.
Queen Maxima wore her Natan outfit with her Natan shoes and her Marina Raphael clutch.
