Danish State Visit to Norway - Day 2

On Wednesday, King Frederik and Queen Mary spent their last day in Norway. They first took the subway with Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit to Østmarka.

In Østmarka, they walked around Ulsrudvannet with the general manager of the Norwegian Tourist Association. They met with young people taking part in the project "Young natural talents" to learn more about their experiences with the project.

Afterward, King Frederik and Queen Mary met with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.

King Frederik and Queen Mary then attended an official lunch hosted by Norway’s Prime Minister at Akershus fortress. King Harald, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, and Crown Princess Mette-Marit were also in attendance.

In the afternoon, King Frederik, Queen Mary, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, and Crown Princess Mette-Marit took a city walk in Bjørvika - Oslo's harbor area. They also visited Operataket - an urban space that gave the public a new view of the harbor and the city.

In the evening, King Frederik and Queen Mary hosted a return reception on the Royal Ship Dannebrog for King Harald and Queen Sonja. Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit were also in attendance.

Queen Mary first wore her Moncler vest with Carhartt WIP trousers and her Arc’teryx sneakers. She also wore her Gucci sunglasses, her Halberstadt necklace, and her Ole Lynggaard rings.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore her Moncler jacket, her Amundsen trousers, On Running sneakers, and her Saint Laurent sunglasses.


Queen Mary then wore a Jesper Hovring blouse with an Emilia Wickstead skirt, her Prada pumps, and her Prada clutch. She paired the outfit with her Bruun Rasmussen earrings, her Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau necklaces, her P.Hertz bracelet, her Ole Lynggaard rings, and Ellen Hunter hair combs.

Queen Sonja wore her Rena Lange suit with a Nancy Gonzalez clutch.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore her Oscar de la Renta dress with her Aquazzura pumps, her Aspinal of London pumps, and her Cartier ring.


In the afternoon, Queen Mary wore a Bagutta shirt with a navy skirt, her Chanel flats, and her Chloé bag. She also wore her Gucci sunglasses and her Canopy Bay by Deborah Hutton hat. She also wore her Dulong earrings, her Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau necklaces, her Rebekka Notkin and P.Hertz bracelets, and her Ole Lynggaard rings.

Queen Sonja wore her Akris jacket with white trousers.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore her Pia Tjelta top with Sportmax trousers and her Christian Louboutin flats. She also wore Céline sunglasses and her Cartier ring.


In the evening, Queen Mary wore her Zimmermann dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps, her P.Hertz bracelet, and an Ellen Hunter hair comb.

Queen Sonja wore a green printed ruffled dress. Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a Pia Tjelta dress with her Christian Louboutin pumps, her Valentino bag, and her Cartier ring.
