On Saturday, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia received President Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska at Stenhammar Castle. The Ukrainian Presidential Couple is currently visiting Sweden at the invitation of the Prime Minister.

In a message on Instagram, the First Lady said: “The gesture of Their Majesties is especially touching - they financed the restoration of the damaged infrastructure of the village of Zmiivka in the Kherson Region, liberated from the Russian occupation, from their personal funds. It was once the ancient Swedish settlement of Gammalsvenskby. History and modernity, past and future converged in our common colors and principles. Thank you, Sweden!’

During the visit, Queen Silvia and Olena Zelenska had a private meeting with Minister of State Camilla Waltersson Grönvall and World Childhood Foundation's Secretary General Paula Guillet de Monthoux to discuss children's rights issues with a particular focus on the situation of Ukraine's children.

Queen Silvia wore her Armani Collezioni suit with repeated shoes and her Cartier bracelet.
