King Felipe and Queen Letizia celebrate VI Centenary of the Privilege of the Union in Pamplona

On Friday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the celebrations of the VI Centenary of the Privilege of the Union in Pamplona. The Privilege of the Union is the treaty by which the three main boroughs that formed the city of Pamplona in the Middle Ages were united by a document signed on September 8, 1423, by King Carlos III of Navarre "the Noble".

King Felipe and Queen Letizia first went to the mausoleum of King Carlos III the Noble where they laid a wreath.

Afterward, King Felipe and Queen Letizia saw original documents that show the causes and reasons that led to the drafting of the Union Treaty and the consequences it had for Pamplona.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia then visited a medieval market on Plaza Consistorial. They also met groups of children and greeted crowds.

The celebrations concluded at the Town Hall where a reception took place. King Felipe and Queen Letizia were presented with the seal of the Privilege of the Union.

Queen Letizia wore her Sfera dress with her Carolina Herrera pumps, her Yanes earrings, and her Coreterno ring.
