Princess Astrid's Economic Mission to Brazil - Day 5
On Thursday, Princess Astrid spent her fifth day in Brazil where she is undertaking an economic mission with a Belgian delegation. In Rio de Janeiro, Princess Astrid first attended a conference on the role of ports and the importance of partnerships with industries & policy makers in enabling the energy transition.
Afterward, Princess Astrid attended a seminar on entrepreneurship and human rights, focusing on how to tackle social inequalities and fight for social inclusion in the business field.
Princess Astrid then took part in a networking lunch on the theme of the Amazon and valorisation of Brazilian local products before visiting the Botanical Garden of Rio de Janeiro where she toured the Arboretum.
Princess Astrid also met with Cláudio Bomfim de Castro e Silva, Governor of the State of Rio de Janeiro, at Palácio Guanabara.
In the evening, Princess Astrid attended a Belgian Entertainment Showcase at the Corcovado.
Princess Astrid first wore her Gucci red jacket with her Gucci logo printed skirt and her Gucci red bag.
