On Thursday, Queen Letizia digitally took part in the XI Ibero-American Congress on Rare Diseases which is held in Peru.
In her speech, Queen Letizia said: “There is still no consensus in the region on what a rare disease is and it is something that all Latin American associations talk about. I am sure that during these two days and with your coordinated work, patients, families, social entities, professionals, researchers, public administrations, and all of you who have an important role in this congress, you will succeed in expanding the space for debate so that global society understands that rare diseases are a priority and that the millions of people and their families who live with one of these pathologies every day deserve the care, attention, and resources that their condition deserve.”

Queen Letizia wore her Hugo Boss blazer with her Coreterno ring.
