Queen Maxima attends Singapore FinTech Festival - Day 1

On Wednesday, Queen Maxima attended the first day of the Singapore FinTech Festival in her role as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Financial Health.

She first attended the opening of the Global FinTech Hackcelerator, a competition that focuses this year on innovations in financial products and services that help people to build resilience and contribute to their financial health.

Afterward, Queen Maxima met with Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam.

She also held bilateral meetings with fintech leaders and partners of FMO - Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank about good practices that promote the financial resilience and financial health of customers.
