The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visit Vancouver and Whistler - Day 3
On Friday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent their third day in Canada to take part in the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 One Year to Go events. They first visited the Hillcrest Community Centre in Vancouver where they spent time with Invictus alumni, military families, sponsors, and supporters.
In the evening, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Invictus Vancouver Whistler 2025 One Year To Go celebratory gala in Vancouver. They were joined by representatives of the government and Four Host First Nations, Invictus Games Foundation members, and IG25 Sponsors among others.
In his speech, the Duke of Sussex said: “The Invictus Games are not just a competition; they’re a way of life…a celebration of the human spirit. The games provide a platform for us to showcase your abilities, to inspire the world, and honour the sacrifices of those we have lost. It is a reminder that we are not defined by our injuries, but by our strength, our commitment, and our ability to overcome adversity.”
The Duchess of Sussex first wore a Sentaler cape with a Bleusalt top (with thanks to Meghan’s Closet Chronicles) and CO boots (with thanks to WhatMeghanWore). She also wore Max Mara gloves (with thanks to WhatMeghanWore) and her Anine Bing earrings.
In the evening, the Duchess of Sussex wore a Greta Constantine gown with her Birks earrings, a Logan Hollowell necklace, and bracelets by Ariel Gordon and Cartier.
