Luxembourg State Visit to Belgium - Day 2
On Wednesday, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa spent their second day in Belgium.
While King Philippe and Grand Duke Henri attended the "Thriving Connections: Belgian-Luxembourg Economic relations" economic forum, Queen Mathilde and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa visited the Palais des Beaux-Arts where they saw the exhibition "Histoire de ne pas rire: le surréalisme en Belgique".
Afterward, the Royal Couple and Grand Duke Henri traveled to Ghent where they visited the North Sea Port Visitor Centre and the Anglo Belgian Corporation (ABC) Engines company.
King Philippe, Queen Mathilde, Grand Duke Henri, and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa then went to the Provincial House where they attended an official lunch hosted by the Governor and Mayor of Ghent.
The Royal Couple and the Grand Ducal Couple then visited St Bavo's Cathedral and met with the crowds on Place Bavon.
In the evening, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa hosted a cocktail reception in honor of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde at the Flagey cultural center in Brussels. The evening featured a concert by the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra.
Grand Duchess Maria Teresa first wore a Natan Couture outfit with Natan pumps, a beaded bag possibly by Monies, and Monies jewels.
Queen Mathilde wore her Natan Couture dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Fabienne Delvigne clutch. She also wore a Fabienne Delvigne headband and her Rolex watch.
In the evening, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa wore an Oscar de la Renta gown with her Bottega Veneta clutch.
Queen Mathilde wore a Dries Van Noten gown.
