Queen Letizia's Cooperation Trip to Guatemala - Days 2 & 3

This week, Queen Letizia undertook a cooperation trip to Guatemala to learn more about the Spanish Cooperation’s work in the country.

On Wednesday, Queen Letizia first met with the First Lady of Guatemala at the National Palace of Culture for a working breakfast. Queen Letizia and the First Lady then held a meeting on the challenges in Mental Health in Guatemala.

Afterward, Queen Letizia and the First Lady visited the Centenario Park in Guatemala City where they observed the rehabilitation works of the park where the Spanish Cooperation is involved.

Queen Letizia then held a meeting with the members of the Spanish Cooperation Office at the Cultural Center of Spain in Guatemala.

Queen Letizia also visited a Workshop School in Zone 18 which has been built with support from Spanish Cooperation.

On Thursday, Queen Letizia visited several Spanish cooperation projects in San José Chacayá.

She then visited the Spanish Cooperation Training Center of La Antigua Guatemala which she toured before holding a meeting with Spanish cooperation in the country and with a representation of the Spanish community linked to cooperation.

Queen Letizia wore a white shirt, jeans, Vivobarefoot boots, and her Coreterno ring on both days.
