Spanish Royal Family attends 2024 Princess of Girona Foundation Awards
On Wednesday evening, King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofia attended the 2024 Princess of Girona Foundation Awards in Lloret de Mar, Girona.
During the ceremony, Princess Leonor handed out the awards to the 2024 winners. They are Victoria Luengo (Arts and Literature), Antonio Espinosa de los Monteros (Business), Daniel Millor Vela (Social), Marc Moisés Expósito-Alonso (Scientific Research), and Susana Arrechea and Yarivith González (International).
In her speech, Princess Leonor said: “I was three years old when my parents launched this foundation with the support of many companies and institutions that believed in this project and that today, 15 years later, grows with strength, determination, and results. The impact of its activity is evident in thousands of young people whom the foundation supports to improve their training, find their talent, broaden their vision. With real support and attention to education and mental health. With purpose. With proven usefulness. Thank you all, thank you to the team, thank you to the generosity of so many people who ensure that every year and at this ceremony, young people feel a new impulse, think long, and look high, without losing sight of reality, but with hope and energy to continue striving to improve it.”
Queen Letizia wore a Carolina Herrera dress with Hugo Boss sandals, and a Carolina Herrera clutch. She paired the outfit with her Carolina Herrera earrings and her Coreterno ring.
Princess Leonor wore a Self Portrait dress with Carolina Herrera pumps and a Felipe Varela clutch.
