Swedish Royal Couple and Crown Princess Victoria present Årets Ölänning prize
On Thursday, King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, and Crown Princess Victoria presented the Årets Ölänning prize to botanist Ulla-Britt Andersson at Solliden Castle. The prize is awarded to someone who has contributed to promoting the island's interests and development.
Ulla-Britt Andersson won the prize for her work making nature's diversity visible and spreading knowledge about the entire flora of Öland.
On Sunday, King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, and Princess Estelle attended a concert held at Drottningholm Palace Theatre to celebrate Queen Silvia’s 50 years as Queen of Sweden.
