Regal Review: King Felipe and Queen Letizia's Introductory Visit to France

On July 22nd, 2014, King Felipe and Queen Letizia made their introductory visit to France. King Felipe and Queen Letizia were officially welcomed by President François Hollande at the Elysée Palace.

The Royal Couple and the President held a private meeting before President Hollande hosted an official lunch for the couple.

Afterward, King Felipe and Queen Letizia went to the National Assembly where they met with Claude Bartolone, President of the Assembly.

The Royal Couple also met with Prime Minister Manuel Valls and his wife Anne Gravoin at Matignon.

They ended their day trip to France at the Senate where they met the President of the Senate Jean-Pierre Bel.

Queen Letizia wore a Felipe Varela dress with Magrit blush sandals and her Magrit clutch. She also wore her TOUS earrings made of ruby, emerald, and moonstone.
