This week, Queen Sofia attended the International Congress on Neurodegenerative Diseases in Lisbon. On Friday, Queen Sofia watched several presentations and panel discussions before visiting the exhibition of scientific posters on neurodegenerative diseases.

In the afternoon, Queen Sofia attended a concert by fado singer Katia Guerreiro.

On Saturday, Queen Sofia presided over the main event of the Congress to mark International Alzheimer's Day before attending the round table discussion "People living with AD and PD - The patient at the centre of care and their engagement in research’.

On Friday, Queen Sofia wore her Escada blazer with black trousers and her Carolina Herrera bag.

On Saturday, Queen Sofia wore her Escada suit and shirt with her Armani Jeans bag. She also wore her Luz Camino brooch.
