On Monday, Queen Sofia attended the International Congress on Neurodegenerative Diseases in Elche. The Congress offers a platform for sharing the latest advances in the research and treatment of these diseases.
In the evening, Queen Sofia attended a concert at the Basilica of Santa María which marked the start of the Congress. She also attended a reception at Elche City Hall for the attendees of the Congress.
